NAME: CELESTE CAPITIS / CELESTE MEGUISO

CP NUMBER: USES 09178841002

EMAIL ADDRESS: cmeguiso@adb.org

FACTS: WORKS AT ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK, She convinces other online sellers to invest in her new online business after posing as a customer. She says she wants to buy some products but would like to offer an investment opportunity as part of payment. All in all, she pays only a small fraction of the price of items and then just promises to follow up the rest, Which she never does.

ONLINE POLICE: BOGUS ONLINE SELLERS PHILIPPINES : JILL MARIA MEDINA

NAME: JILL MARIA MEDINA

ONLINE SHOP: http://mistishoppe.multiply.com/

FACTS: after buyers send their payment, this person just sends them an empty box instead of the agreed upon item. Then she would say that its the courier's fault. Once is a mistake but after numerous reports, wouldn't we say that this is her gimik? An obvious modus operandi. Another modus is she would contact other online sellers and ask to buy their items stating she needs it ASAP and she's just tied up and would send the payment after her classes, the hapless seller believes her and ships the item, on the trust that she is also an online seller. After she receives the tracking number, She gives a false payment transaction number, Obviously after a few hours. The seller would then be able to check the authenticity of her payment on the following day, and when the other seller realizes that he had been duped, the package is already delivered to a c/o address provided by this bogus seller. Beware of her gimik!
